About the Japan Association of New Economy

It is essential that Japan make more strategic use of IT (information technology) to promote the development and growth of new industries, for the country to stay on top of global competition and continue to further expand its economy. The laying down of various policies and infrastructure to prop up this development is an issue of great urgency to Japan.

The Japan Association of New Economy is an organization that aims to contribute to the establishment of such an environment through policy suggestions made from the private sector, the providing of information to members of the association, and the encouragement of mutual exchanges between them.

In order to achieve these goals, JANE will promote and reinforce innovation, entrepreneurship, and globalization as keywords for reviving and growing Japan's economy and society. Furthermore, as an association with responsibility toward the socioeconomic future of Japan, JANE will not succumb to the pain of the current economic reforms. And as an organization comprised of companies that will pioneer technologies and services of the future, the association will not be bound by current limitations, but point the way toward a new socioeconomic future.

"Hello, Future!" is the expression, which embodies the mission of JANE.
